Vadakkumnathan Temple

Vadakkumnathan Temple, situated in the heart of Thrissur city in Kerala, is an ancient and iconic Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is a brilliant example of traditional Kerala architecture and is revered as one of the oldest and most sacred shrines in South India.

The main deity is Lord Shiva, worshipped in the form of a large Shivalinga covered under ghee for centuries.
